Role Summary​

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Espria, you will play a crucial role in driving our growth by generating and qualifying new business opportunities. You will work closely with our marketing team to execute highly targeted outbound campaigns and respond to inbound inquiries and event responses in a timely manner, present our value proposition, gather key information around business needs, and qualify them for a more in-depth discussion with an Account Manager.

Responsibilities​

  • Lead Generation: Identify, qualify and create new sales opportunities through outbound campaigns, events and initially managing inbound inquiries.

  • Initial Contact: As this role is the first point of contact for prospective customers you are required to conduct professional and proactive business dealings, clearly presenting the Espria value proposition.

  • Lead Nurturing: Educate and develop prospects until they are ready for further engagement with the sales team. Respond, engage and qualify inbound leads and inquiries in a timely fashion.

  • Lead Vetting: Thoroughly vet leads to confirm they conform to company guidelines.

  • Qualification: Ensure leads meet company guidelines and address their pain points. Qualify leads to ensure we can address their pain points and provide value to them and ensure they are correctly recorded in CRM.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to improve lead quality and conversion rates.

  • Productivity: Maintain high productivity levels, manage multiple priorities and work effectively under time constraints.

  • Engage with Customers, both on the telephone and with email, to analyse their needs.

  • Profile the account and overcome prospect objections to generate quality opportunities for the Account team.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team and sales on lead quality and conversion rates.

  • Achieve weekly and monthly KPIs as defined by the business.

  • Maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative, and team-oriented environment.

  • Travel: Occasional travel to trade shows and other marketing and sales events.

Qualifications​

  • Education: University degree or equivalent experience.

  • Experience: 2+ years of business experience, with at least one year in a sales-related role.

  • Skills: Clear communication skills, excellent phone etiquette and the ability to influence senior executives asking thought provoking business questions to understand underlying customer business challenges.

  • Knowledge:  Ability to understand and successfully promote the technical offerings and solution sets of Espria.

  • Technical Aptitude: Experience with Microsoft CRM and sales automation, Zoom Info,  Apollo and Microsoft Business Apps is a plus.

  • Personal Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills, excellent time management, self-motivation and passionately driven for success as well as adaptable to change. Ability to manage several tasks and assignments concurrently; a quick learner who is self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency.

  • Autonomy: Able to work both independently and within a team setting, adaptable to change in an entrepreneurial environment.
