Building up the local community through the sponsorship of a local football club

Expanding on our commitment to the local community, Espria are now proud sponsors of Ware FC Under 7s football team. Located just 300 yards from the Espria Head Offices, Ware FC’s under 7’s train and play matches on the same pitches as the first team and are currently leading the league for their age group. Phil Pledger, the U7’s Head Coach said, “Helping kids to build confidence, to meet and make new friends is great fun and hugely rewarding! It’s also great to see them support one another as they develop their skills, not just for the sport but in team play and sportsmanship. The difference a branded sponsored shirt makes to their performance is tangible and I’m really looking forward to Espria staying with this year group as they continue their football journey with the club. One we hope will take the team all the way through to our First Team.” Phil has already done a phenomenal job with the team this season, leading them to victory in their most recent games. Founded in 1892, Ware FC has played an integral part in the local community for over 100 years. At Espria, we understand the importance of our local community and are aware of the benefits that outlets such as football can have, as children learn and play together outside. “Sponsoring Ware FCs under 7’s team is one small way we want to show our support for the local community.” said Chris Kuhnel, Director of Marketing and Business Development at Espria, “They continue to do extremely well in their age group and it is encouraging to see local kids having a space to get together to play sports. Being a part of that is very special and we are excited to see how they do for the rest of the season. We intend to support this year group as they progress through the seasons to the first team.” he continued. Going forward, Espria plans on finding similar outlets as a way of giving back and supporting our local community.
